摘要: Thirteen patients received stimulation of the cochlea using a transtympanic electrode. The purpose was to investigate effect alternating current on normal and damaged also discover what effect, if any, it has tinnitus. Measurements were made electrical dynamic range in one case loudness balance test performed against an acoustic signal contralateral ear. In addition nine experienced variety somatic sensations four had vertigo. Tinnitus temporarily suppressed two out cases.
