摘要: Abstract Measurement of alpha particle loss rates to the first wall is importance in planning tokamak fusion reactors, since large can adversely affect performance. A set scintillator-based probes has been operated TFTR measure losses during its DT campaign. sample exposure probe also provided data under some conditions. These technologies, along with infrared imaging and Faraday cups, may be adaptable measurements ITER or other reactor-scale tokamaks. Constraints on detector operation a reactor environment are discussed.
