摘要: The knowledge of the biodegradation rates is essential to studies biogeochemistry and ecology aquatic systems. It helps us quantify production uptake chemical components their recycling, understand mechanisms organic matter accumulation in sediments. Experimental processes six types mineralized skeletons were performed shallow-marine waters Calvi Bay, Corsica estuarine Roscoff, Brittany. Three mollusk shells, sea urchin skeletal plates, crab cuticle fish vertebrae exposed oxic anoxic conditions over periods 15 days 30 months. After recovery substrates, protein assays, bacterial counts carbon analyses performed. Quantitative assays indicate that structures occurs at a slower rate than conditions. Bacterial analysis showed environment, less 0.5% consumed converted into biomass. aerobic was positively correlated with content skeletons. Anoxic occurred much sediments shallow marine Preservation appears be abundance dissolved rather high sedimentation rates.
