摘要: This is the second paper of a two-paper series describing design, implementation and validation strain damage monitoring system for CFRP fuselage stiffened panels based on Fiber Optic Bragg Grating (FOBG) sensors. The was developed tested basis compression after impact response panel. first describes embedment fiber sensors in panel during manufacturing testing. In present paper, mechanical testing proposed are described. tests comprised three load-scenarios: to failure undamaged panel, impacted fatigued all cases failed due buckling. order monitor panels’ behavior be able validate accuracy measurements FOBGs, network gauges were used. Impact fatigue decreased load displacement at taken from FOBGs captured changes buckling modes Moreover, they showed good correlation with gauges. These findings system.
