摘要: Abstract Common seals Phoca vitulina Linnaeus 1758 were surveyed throughout Ireland during the 1978 breeding season. Compared with abundance of species in Great Britain, Irish stock is small. The results are discussed relation to activities man, particularly bounty hunting protect fisheries, and availability suitable localities. Problems relating management, not least which that subject legislation south but north, discussed.
