摘要: This paper reviews literature supporting the development and implementation of effective HIV/STI interventions for different populations. Evaluation research indicating favourable behavioural outcomes prevention with adolescents street youth STI clinic patients women heterosexually active men who have sex communities is summarized. Research suggesting that can be cost-effective or result in cost-savings also described. Based on reviewed some common characteristics behaviourally are identified discussed. These include: use theoretical models; incorporation skills training; emphasis promoting condom use; helping clients create a personal sexual health plan; community/culturally appropriate strategies; peer educators community opinion leaders; intervention duration.
