摘要: Magnetic resonance histology (MRH) has found considerable application in structural phenotyping the mouse embryo. MRH employs same fundamental principles as clinical MRI, albeit with spatial resolution up to six orders of magnitude higher than that studies. Critical obtaining this enormous gain is need enhance weak signal from these microscopic voxels. This been accomplished through use active staining, a method simultaneously fix embryonic/fetal tissues, while reducing spin lattice relaxation time (T1). We describe here methods allow one balance fixation, which reduces NMR signal, enhancement derived reduction T1. Methods are included cover ranges embryonic specimens E12.5 E19.5.
