摘要: Congenital rubella syndrome (CRS) was discovered in the 1940s, virus isolated early 1960s, and vaccines became available by end of same decade. Systematic vaccination against rubella, usually combination with measles, has eliminated both congenital acquired infection from some developed countries, most recently United States, as is confirmed articles this supplement. The present article summarizes clinical CRS, process which vaccine developed, history leading up to elimination, well possible extension elimination on a wider scale.
