摘要: Furfural is an important derivate of hemicelluloses and used in the production furan-based non-petroleum chemicals. Thermoset resins obtained from furfural exhibit extreme physical strength. Furan a furfural-derived thermoset resin. Previous work about usage furan resin (FR) as bitumen modifier reported that FR modification increases consistency ageing resistance decreases temperature moisture susceptibility. The aim this study to examine high-temperature performance FR-modified bitumen. Dynamic shear rheometer rotational viscometer tests were carried out on modified samples. Results show stiffness elasticity develops rutting resistance. maximum where binder provides required Superpave grading system was raised 64°C 76°C.
