摘要: In this study we compared three overland flow models, a full dynamic model (shallow water equation), local inertial equations (gravity wave model), and diffusive (parallel model). The models are coupled with the same sewer network (SIPSON). We adopted volume exchange between hydraulic head discharge rates at linked manholes to evaluate differences models. For that purpose developed novel methodology based on RGB scale. test results of real case show close agreement in terms extents flooding, depth exchanged, despite highly complex flows geometries. gives slightly higher maximum flood depths slower propagation front when other two shows slight extent downstream as is than one fully model. Overall, simplified can produce comparable less computational cost.
