摘要: The population age structure and derived dynamics (recruitment, growth mortality), rhizome flowering effort of Cymodocea nodosa in the Ria Formosa (south Portugal) were examined using reconstruction techniques. horizontal elongation rates low (13.8–30.7 cm year−1), which is consistent with rate (−2.35 to 0.29 year−1). vertical was proportional except for one stand that subjected sand movements had higher rates. mean leaf production varied from 11.8 14 leaves year−1. average shoot 0.70 1.04 years, oldest found 7.6 years. mortality highest as yet reported this species (0.99–3.70 Observed high are possibly associated development eutrophic conditions Formosa. probability stands (<0.009–0.90 shoots−1 year−1) comparable Mediterranean off Canary Islands.
