摘要: In the current batch study, we investigated effect of solution properties, competing ligands (phosphate (P(V)) and sulfate), complexing metal (calcium (Ca2+)) on tetracycline (TTC) oxytetracycline (OTC) sorption by Al-based drinking water treatment residuals (Al-WTR). The behavior for both TTC OTC Al-WTR was pH dependent. in absence increased with increasing up to circum-neutral then decreased at higher pH. presence P(V) when added simultaneously had a significant negative (p 0.1). sulfate minimal/negligible TCs Al-WTR. A < 0.001) adsorption observed range below 5 TCs:Ca2+ ratios, probably due TCs-Ca2+ complex formation. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) analysis indicated possibility inner-sphere-type bonding functional groups OTC/TTC surface. Results from study indicate high affinity 4–8 (majorly encountered environment) metal.
