摘要: Previous neuroimaging studies have found hyperactivation in the cerebellum and motor cortex hypoactivation basal ganglia patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) but relationship between two has not been established. This study examined whether cerebellar is a compensatory mechanism for or pathophysiological response that related to signs of disease. Using BOLD contrast fMRI paradigm PD healthy controls performed automatic cognitively controlled thumb pressing movements. Regions interest analysis quantified activation areas, correlations hyperactive hypoactive regions were performed, along severity upper limb rigidity activation. There three main findings. First, putamen, supplementary area (SMA) pre-SMA patients. The left right contralateral Second, had significant negative correlation ipsilateral putamen. putamen was significant. Third, positively correlated rigidity, rigidity. Further, extremity bradykinesia. These findings provide new evidence supporting hypothesis defective ganglia. Our also first from primary directly
