摘要: Hepatic regeneration following partial hepatectomy (PH) and biliary hyperplasia subsequent to bile duct ligation (BDL) were characterized in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) by light microscopy using routine special (immunohistochemical enzyme histochemical) stains. Both PH BDL involved initial hypertrophy of preductular epithelial cells (BPDECs). BPDECs are small oval that form junctional complexes with hepatocytes ductular commonly found hepatic tubules teleost liver. Proliferating transitioned through intermediate cell types before final differentiation into large basophilic (following PH) or (after BDL). Normal both negative for cytokeratin filaments control fish when screened the monoclonal antibody AE1/AE3. In contrast, hyperplastic their progeny (intermediate cells, immature hepatocytes, ductal cells) all strongly positive. Cytokeratin expression was transient newly differentiated (expression decreased as acquired characteristics consistent full differentiation) but permanent very strong mature ducts). BPDECs, also positive alkaline phosphatase BDL. Chronology histologic events support hypothesis possess capacity differentiate either cells. Thus, may be equivalent a bipolar stem mammals.
