摘要: Abstract INTRODUCTION Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm (SPPN) was first characterized by Virginia Frantz in 1959. The duodenum-preserving pancreatic head resection (DPPHR) has been described as treatment for low-grade malignant tumors of the pancreas including eight cases SPPN. PRESENTATION OF CASE : A 16-year-old white female patient presented with abdominal pain and dyspepsia. Computed tomography scan abdomen showed a 10 × 9 × 10 cm 3 lesion on head. After radiological diagnosis SPPN submitted to DPPHR. Resection achieved clear margins. Immunohistochemical study demonstrated positivity progesterone receptor, β-catenin, cytoplasmic paranuclear dot-like CD99, negativity chromogranin S100 protein Ki 67 index 1%. DISCUSSION large encapsulated mass well-defined borders that contains areas calcifications intratumoral hemorrhage CT young is virtually diagnostic an particular intracytoplasmic expression CD99 appears be highly unique CONCLUSION DPPHR should considered if there no compromise oncologic radicality.
