摘要: Sleep dysfunction is a common nonmotor symptom experienced by patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD). Symptoms, including excessive daytime sleepiness, sleep fragmentation, rapid eye movement (REM) behavior disorder and others, can significantly affect quality of life functioning in these patients. Recent studies have evaluated the effects deep brain stimulation (DBS) at various targets on advanced PD. Several provided evidence that subthalamic nucleus DBS improves subjective objective measures sleep, efficiency, nocturnal mobility, wake after onset (minutes spent awake initial onset). Although fewer investigated bilateral internal globus pallidus thalamic ventral intermedius pallidal does appear to improve quality. Stimulation pedunculopontine has recently been proposed for selected PD treat severe gait postural dysfunction. Owing role modulating behavioral state, impact this target also small number patients, showing increases REM sleep. In review, we discuss Studying enhance our understanding pathophysiology disorders, provide strategies optimizing clinical benefit from DBS, may eventually guide novel therapies
