摘要: Anopheles stephensi with three different biotypes is a major vector of malaria in Asia. It breeds wide range habitats. Therefore, safer and more sustainable methods are needed to control its immature stages rather than chemical pesticides. The larvicidal antibacterial properties the Pelargonium roseum essential oil (PREO) formulations were investigated against mysorensis intermediate forms An. laboratory conditions. A series nanoemulsions containing amounts PREO, equivalent calculated LC50 values for each form, various quantities surfactants co-surfactants developed. physical morphological most lethal also determined. PREO components, i.e. citronellol (21.34%), L-menthone (6.41%), linalool (4.214%), geraniol (2.19%), showed potent activity studied mosquitoes. LC50/90 computed as 11.44/42.42 ppm 12.55/47.69 ppm, respectively. F48/F44 nanoformulations 94% 88% lethality designated optimized formulations. droplet size, polydispersity index, zeta-potential determined 172.8/90.95 nm, 0.123/0.183, -1.08/-2.08 mV, These results confirmed by TEM analysis. Prepared displayed larval gut bacteria following order decreasing inhibitory: LC90, nanoemulsions, LC50. PREO-based effective intermediate. Compared crude overall all boosted 20% 50%. sensitivity insect may be crucial factor determining outcome effect toxins on target insects. designed present study good option selective larvicide stephensi.
