摘要: Milk samples were collected 2-5, 15, 30, 60 and 90 days postpartum from 41 individual mothers recruited in three French cities order to obtain a general view of the polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) composition France. Considering overall results, linoleic (18:2 n-6) represented between 11.6% 13% total acids human milk. In contrast alpha-linolenic (18:3 n-3) accounted only for about 0.6%, hence 18:2 n-6 18:3 n-3 ratio was close 20. Amounts long-chain PUFAs (LCPs) regularly decreased 2-5 (3.09%) day 30 (1.67%), then remained unchanged up 90; n-6/n-3 LCP ranged 2.5 2. According regional areas, there significant differences (P < 0.05) colostrum contents LCPs, remaining unchanged. These data are discussed with regard recent on milk Western countries mechanisms involved balance.
