The effects of maize particle size and steam pelleting on growth nutrient utilisation were studied with broiler chicks. 2. presence or absence 10 μg/kg 1,25 dihydroxycholecalciferol in diets adequate deficient phosphorus was also investigated. Food efficiency superior the fine but calcium retention phytate greatest coarse diets. Pelleting improved food both experiments while decreased. 3.
