摘要: ABSTRACT AS EARLY as 1937, Patten, Buskirk and Rauls reported that chicks fed pelleted rations gained more weight consumed less feed than unpelleted rations. Heywang Morgan (1944) found pellet-fed White Leghorn cockerels were significantly heavier at 12 weeks of age mash-fed birds. An increased efficiency with the ration was also observed. Bearse et al. (1952) observed growth response to pelleting fiber level in raised from 8 18%. Recently, Lanson Smyth (1955) obtained superior conversion when While Plymouth Rock male broilers pellets. increase containing high levels barley by Lindblad (1955). These workers suggested improved performance on not due consumption feed. Contrary these reports, Stewart .
