摘要: Follicular dendritic cells (FDC) in the mucosal lymphoid organs, Peyer's patches (PP), display vascular addressin-cell adhesion molecule-1 (MAdCAM-1). MAdCAM-1 decorates interlacing throughout PP follicles and is accentuated on FDC of germinal center (GC) light zone "junctional" overlapping B/T border subepithelial dome region, sites associated with microenvironmental homing decisions. In contrast, rarely displayed by coronal or junctional peripheral lymph node largely confined to GC after immunization. FDC-associated plays a prominent role lymphocyte frozen sections participates significantly binding chronically stimulated nodes spleen, but not primary immunization (where dominated cell molecule-1). Differential could contribute specialization vs nonmucosal immune responses.
