摘要: OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study was to assess the effects intradiscal methylene blue (MB) injection on discogenic low back pain (DLBP). METHODS We conducted an electronic search PubMed, Ovid, Ovid MEDLINE and Embase databases using terms "low pain" "methylene blue"; limited English language articles from database inception October 2017. In addition, reference lists all included studies were manually searched. Two reviewers independently assessed quality studies, extracted data analyzed data. RESULTS Five included. results meta-analysis indicated that MB between preoperation postoperation DLBP statistically significant based 3-month visual analog scale (VAS) or numeric rating (NRS) (weighted mean difference [WMD] = 3.61; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 2.46 4.76; P < 0.05) Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) (WMD = 24.64, CI: 12.07 37.21, P < 0.05), 6-month VAS NRS (WMD = 2.95; 1.20 4.71; ODI (WMD = 23.21, 12.89 33.53, 12-month (WMD = 3.19; 0.99 5.40; (standard difference = 29.51, 20.60 38.42, P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS Intradiscal can reduce severity improve score in individuals with pain. Although seems be a safe effective treatment for pain, clinical benefits patients need further appraised larger samples more in-depth studies.
