摘要: Aim and Objectives: The aim of this study is to assess the iodine nutritional status in hypothyroid patients with goitre attending a major teaching hospital south India by measuring urinary excretion correlate thyroid hormone status. Methods: One hundred fifty Overt Hypothyroid one euthyroid healthy, non-goitrous volunteers were included. Results: Free thyroxine (FT4), TSH concentrations (UIC) measured for all controls. had higher levels than control subjects (236.59 ± 133.59Vs150.46 19.48, p<0.05). Among there was significant positive correlation between UIC levels. Also, FT4 found. Conclusion: We conclude that excessive intake may trigger dysfunction eventually lead hypo function gland.
