摘要: We sought to critically evaluate the literature published over past 3 years on management of gastrointestinal complications in systemic sclerosis (SSc). emphasize interesting and important new findings bring reader up-to-date. also discuss controversial discoveries hypotheses currently interest. conducted a search PubMed last using keywords “systemic sclerosis,” “gastrointestinal,” “scleroderma,” “treatment.” screened clinicaltrials.gov for ongoing trials relevant SSc. Reference lists from recent reviews SSc identify articles that might have been missed initial search. One hundred three publications clinical were identified. eliminated all case reports review articles. Ultimately, we had 58 remaining prioritized what found be strongest and/or novel this review. Advances disease continue evolve. The application therapies repurposing existing involvement are shaping therapeutic arsenal so can more effectively manage these complex patients.
