摘要: Abstract Bad health combined witii deteriorating physical functions force many elderly people to move a retirement home. The primary focus of this study was investigate the resident's experience safety and security. From sample 57 residents, 12 persons volunteered participate in interview. Data were analyzed with qualitative content analysis. standard design participant's previous home made mobility difficult affected their sense This motivated them into an environment where they felt more secure. at predominantly described as secure safe. finding shows that participants security important than independence.
