Effect of probiotics in the pig nutrition on the pathogenic bacteria counts in the gut

摘要: The objective of the present study was to evaluate efficacy a probiotic culture in digestive tract sows. Two groups healthy sows with 40 animals each were fed standard feed three weeks after weaning. From beginning fourth week (day 0), one group received same diet enriched monoculture Enterococcus faecium SF 68, second (control) given without probiotics. samples faeces collected (to sterile containers) at days 0, 15, 30 (end consumption) and wash-out period), respectively. In group, significant decrease (P < 0.05) numbers E. coli Clostridium spp. found. results indicate positive effect probiotics consumption on it can be used for incidence diarrhoeic diseases that are frequent pig husbandry.
