摘要: Abstract The objective of this study was to determine the condition and grazing capacity commonly grazed rangeland pastoralists living in Kereyu-Fantale Awash-Fantale districts Ethiopia. In each districts, data on grass species composition, basal cover, bare ground, soil erosion dry matter (DM) yield were collected. most dominant Chrysopogon plumulosus , followed by different Sporobolus . percentage ground varied from 0.3% 10.8%, with a mean value 5.3%. cover both low, averaging 3.4%. DM ranged between 168.5 832 kg ha −1 as low 54.1 high 7.1 ha LSU general conclusion that can be made is Middle Awash Valley Ethiopia poor, requiring careful participatory management.
