摘要: Abstract The inclusion of a frequency-dependent collision operator in the line shape expression is investigated quantitatively for 4471 A overlapping HeI line. We compare at several electron densities frequency-independent (markovian) profiles with (nonmarkovian) taking into account incomplete electron-atom collisions. No significant discrepancies appear domain validity impact approximations (| Δω | ⩽ ωp e ), whereas far wings important differences may be found. At extrema (two peaks, one dip) nonmarkovian intensities prove to higher ones. For modest density, ion dynamic shielding introduces more modifications then effects. In blue wing, profile lies below frequency-independant accord hydrogenic behavior that part presence large perturber density.
