摘要: Gram-positive methylotrophic bacteria have been known for a long period of time, some serving as model organisms characterizing the specific details methylotrophy pathways/enzymes within this group. However, genome-based knowledge group has so far limited to single species, Bacillus methanolicus (Firmicutes). The paucity whole-genome data methylotrophs limits our global understanding group, including their roles in biogeochemical cycles, well biotechnological potential. Here, we describe isolation seven novel strains that include two and five representatives Actinobacteria classified genera, Arthrobacter Mycobacterium.
