摘要: The anisotropic g factors g‖ and g⊥ of La2Ni0.5Li0.5O4 are theoretically investigated using the perturbation formulae for a low spin (S = 1/2) 3d ion in tetragonally elongated octahedra. studied Ni(3d) center arises from original Ni capturing one hole by Li doping. positive anisotropy ∆g (= − g‖) can be ascribed to lowest A1g state due obvious (about 0.14 A) tetragonal elongation oxygen octahedron around site via Jahn Teller e ect, ective magnetic moment is also interpreted uniform way. calculated results show good agreement with experimental data, imperfection previous studies based on various adjusted energy splittings without correlating local structure thus overcome this work.
