摘要: Today sustainable development is a very pertinent issue. Communities do not want companies, specifically mining to deplete natural resource and leave. The goal minimize the negative impacts of boom/bust cycles extraction. In this study three part framework was developed analyze sustainability Flambeau Mine in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. first second dealt with an in-depth local regional analysis whether community developing within its own vision. third used nine measures including: 1. Need Present Generation 2. Future 3. Acceptable Legacy 4. Full-Cost 5. Contribution Economic Development 6. Equity 7. Consent 8. Respect for Ecological Limits, Maintenance Integrity Landscape Requirements 9. Offsetting Restoration This concluded that relative two criteria it can be considered mostly criteria. Overall stated beneficial project Ladysmith Wisconsin area. Additionally appeared decrease public’s perception mining. Recommendations future analytical work are made. Suggestions made as how companies could increase potential attainment projects. It recommended by other industries.
