摘要: Abstract Crystal growth of cadmium sulfide by the chemical vapor transport method using iodine as a transporting agent was carried out in closed ampoules paying attention to crystal morphology and behavior liquid phase it appeared during reaction. When amount relatively small temperature high, layer deposited on inner wall fused silica ampoule, crystals such needles (ca. 0.2 mm thick, up 9 long) and/or “fish skeletons” often grew from layer. large low, droplets iodide were formed polyhedrons 5 × 4 3 dimensions) or other-shaped diversely.
