摘要: Transfusion is a common method of treatment haemorrhagic events patients treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Nonetheless, it involves various dangers, many cases fatal, such as transfusion related acute lung injury (TRALI). This article refers to case encountered during our traineeship ICU. It about 47-year-old man, who was transported us from another tertiary care facility intubated due diabetic coma. After 39 days ICU, diabetes mellitus, hemodynamic instability and electrolyte disorders were regulated. However, he started have diffuse intestinal necrosis required blood factors. Platelets (PLT) developed Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), which evolved TRALI finally death patient occurred.
