摘要: The H2O-catalyzed sintering of MgO in temperature gradients between 1303 and 1233 K is compared to isothermal samples. Both the changes sample dimensions planes normal increases density for a fixed time are greater than predicted on assumption that densification gradient function only each local gradient. Under conditions used, neither vapor transport nor through liquid phase important. results, therefore, support recent prediction supplement surface energy driving related processes not by transport, as expected from earlier studies, but also surface, grainboundary, or bulk diffusion path.
