摘要: This paper describes tests on existing pavements to determine the quantity of free water that infiltrates through pavement surface and presents some suggested criteria for subdrainage design. Permeability measurements uncracked specimens portland cement concrete (PCC) dense-graded bituminous (BC) have shown amount infiltration areas is insignificant when compared occurs joints cracks appear in surfaces. Field were made highway how much enters structure joints. Data collected five BC section 5 34 years old. It concluded PCC used surfaces are virtually impermeable, but they cannot be constructed without joints, or forming long before their desired life attained. Pavement design should include removal surface. Rainfall duration more important than rainfall intensity determining will enter structure. For purposes, a can estimated by using predicted accepatable cracking an rate 100 cm cubed/h/cm crack.
