摘要: The development and characteristics of coastal internal boundary layers were investigated in 28 tests. These made at all seasons both gradient sea-breeze flows but only during mid-day periods. Measurements turbulence temperature taken from a light aircraft which flew traverses across Long Island successive altitudes parallel to the wind direction. used locate between modified unmodified air as function height distance coast. same measurements plus tower wind, temperature, pilot balloon soundings land water surface temperatures by remote sensing IR thermometer quantify air.
