摘要: Meditation and hypnosis might be regarded as involving similar processes skills. For example, both meditation are associated with high levels of absorption imaginative capacity, can used for self-regulation. Research has also shown that improves attentional functioning, hypnotic response involve strategies. However, we argue mindfulness essentially different. Crucially, experience results from a lack awareness mental states (specifically, intentions); by contrast, aims to develop accurate meta-awareness. Hypnosis is form self deception; way getting know your mind. We discuss the empirical relation higher order states, suggest further research.
