摘要: With the increasing popularity of Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) and fast growth mobile gaming, cloud gaming exhibits great promises over conventional MMOG model as it frees players from requirement hardware game installation on their local computers. However, graphics rendering is offloaded to cloud, data transmission between end-users significantly increases response latency limits user coverage, thus preventing achieve high Quality Experience (QoE). To solve this problem, previous research suggested deploying more centers, but comes at a prohibitive cost. We propose lightweight system called Cloud Fog, which incorporates "fog" consisting super nodes that are responsible for videos streaming them nearby players. Fog enables be only intensive state computation sending update information nodes, reduce traffic hence bandwidth consumption. Experimental results PeerSim Planet Lab show effectiveness efficiency in reducing
