摘要: We present the modeling, design, and experiments of a class low-profile broadband dual-circularly polarized (DCP) reflectarrays (RAs) with independent beamforming for CP waves opposite handedness. The proposed DCP RAs are comprised by an array unit cells containing two cascaded anisotropic impedance surfaces backed ground plane. phase compensation offered RA is enabled simultaneously utilizing cell rotation-induced Berry dimension variation-induced dynamic phase. Numerical investigations diffraction properties linear gradient reveal that designed can offer high-efficiency deflection handedness over bandwidth about 40%. Two Ka -band profile only $0.16\lambda _{0} $ demonstrated. single-beam achieves measured peak gain higher than 30 dBic joint 1 dB axial ratio < 0.5 around 30%, while multibeam exhibits 26 1.5 more 25%. demonstrated promising candidates various wireless satellite communication systems.
