摘要: The purpose of this study was to compare the effects 4 hours bed rest versus 6 on patients' safety, comfort, and satisfaction levels. Using a quasi-experimental design, authors studied 118 left-heart catheterization patients who were randomly assigned or rest. Among participants, only 1 in 6-hour group had significant bleeding. There no complications 4-hour group. statistically differences between two groups any other variables. Given lack for similar comfort levels both groups, these findings suggest feasibility reducing standard period postcatheterization from hours, thereby possibly lowering cost outpatient procedure.
