摘要: Abstract Formation of open-cage oligomeric azidophenylsilsesquioxane was surprisingly discovered in the successive reduction and azidation reactions starting from octa(nitrophenyl)octasilsesquioxane. The mixture products characterized after end-capping with trimethylsilyl groups. IR spectra confirmed introduction azide function to aromatic moiety, group on silsesquioxane framework. Together GPC result, NMR analysis revealed different number groups structure. Some them maintained cage-like structure by XRD analysis. Their TGA profiles gave a unique pattern clear two-step mass loss first about 8–10 wt% 180 225 °C corresponding thermal decomposition
