A validated multi-channel electrochemical immunoassay for rapid fumonisin B1 determination in cereal samples

摘要: Fumonisin mycotoxins are natural contaminants of cereals mostly found in maize samples. Owing to their acute and chronic toxicity, very strict regulations have been imposed on the levels fumonisin cereal cereal-based foods worldwide. We report a rapid direct competitive multi-channel electrochemical immunoassay for B1 (FB1) determination foods. Monoclonal antibodies against FB1 were immobilized surface modified magnetic beads (2.8 μm diameter), transduction was performed an 8× screen-printed array allowing detection eight samples parallel (amperometric detection, E = −0.35 V). The has limit 0.58 ± 0.05 μg L−1 EC50 4.34 0.15 L−1, concentration range up 54 L−1. precision (within-day, between-days) about 7–13% RSD. optimized method (extraction determination) successfully validated with certified reference materials at various concentrations, official AOAC liquid chromatography fluorescence (HPLC-FLD) (2001.04). also compared our results commercial enzyme-linked immunosorbent analysis (ELISA) kit. Cross-reactivities other (ochratoxins deoxynivalenol) less than 10%. lifetime 28 days. reported is reliable alternative HPLC methods.
