摘要: Recent developments in relativistic atomic structure have been more terms of program improvement than fundamental theory. Some comments on both aspects this work are illustrated by a description two different recent applications. In the first, we study contribution interaction relativity and correlation to 2 3S−2 3P0,1,2 intervals heliumlike ions, whose theoretical estimation is important for testing QED. The satellite Kβ x-ray emission spectrum Ar illustrates quite use packages developed at Oxford investigating configuration interaction. shake theory predict initial states, populated along with primary vacancy giving rise diagram line, gives line intensity distribution which agrees very well experimental spectra.
