摘要: Irradiation of gaseous discharges with a tunable laser produces easily observed voltage changes at wavelengths which correspond to electronic transitions for species in the discharge. This work reports observations made 572–654 nm region on neon glow discharge, is operated 5 torr (670 Pa) pressure and 2–25 mA current. A wide variety absorption have been detected originate 1sn (3P2,1,0, 1P1) 2pn excited states. The resulting signals are both positive negative, some exhibit sign as function discharge Some results can be interpreted terms processes directly affect metastable atom concentration (3P2, 3P0) states also produce explained either enhance or decrease ionization.
