摘要: Abstract The osmoregulatory response of Senegalese sole ( Solea senegalensis , Kaup 1858) to 14-day exposure and throughout 17-day different environmental salinities was investigated. A linear relationship observed between salinity gill Na + ,K -ATPase activity whereas kidney unaffected. Two periods could be distinguished according variations in plasma osmolality: an adjustment period a chronic regulatory period. No major changes osmolality ions levels were registered at the end 14- period, indicating efficient adaptation system. Plasma glucose lactate elevated hypersaline water, importance these energy substrates environments. Glucose increased during hyper-osmoregulation but only Cortisol proved good indicator stress induced by transfer osmotic conditions. This work shows that S. is able acclimate conditions short-term exposure.
