Benefits that matter to managers: an exploratory study of three national park management agencies

摘要: Understanding and conveying the benefits of providing visitor experiences in national parks is critical for their survival, but to date has received relatively little attention. This paper uses a series semi-structured interviews an online survey with senior/executive managers from three Australian agencies, as well analysis corporate strategic documents, identify each agency's focus respect associated provision experiences. Results reveal 39 personal community-wide that mattered across agencies. Key identified by senior/executive-level included accessing natural experiences, connecting nature, appreciating scenic beauty protection biological diversity.
