摘要: PURPOSE To determine the additive effect, if any, of NITM after 1 and 2 hours reading in different refractive groups. METHODS Fifteen early-onset myopes (EOMs), 14 late-onset (LOMs), 15 emmetropes (EMMs), as well progressive (PMs) stable (SMs), were tested. Subjects read binocularly for at a distance 35 to 40 cm. Distance state right eye was assessed every seconds 30 first hour reading, then 120 second reading. calculated difference posttask compared with pretask each hour. RESULTS Initial values (mean +/- SE) recorded end near work tasks 0.22 0.03 D 0.29 EOMs, 0.14 0.02 0.20 LOMs, 0.15 EMMs, 0.27 PMs, 0.09 0.04 0.05 SMs, respectively. After hour, only EOMs LOMs significantly greater than that found Seventy percent (EOMs LOMs) but 47% EMMs exhibited increased Only longer decay duration (PMs), not only. Within The time constant PMs SMs. Lastly, many (up 46%) did experience baseline task over 120-second period. CONCLUSIONS demonstrated larger additivity, also prolonged LOMs. additivity NITM. These findings may be attributed impaired sympathetic function subjects myopia. It is speculated repeated cycles work, residual contribute progression permanent
