摘要: To determine and compare the fiber types size distributions in lung tissue of mesothelioma patients Finland, samples from 29 with known work history were analyzed transmission electron microscopy (TEM) X-ray microanalysis. Compared earlier results using scanning (SEM), concentrations about three times as high ranged 0.1 million to 5,200 fibers per gram dry tissue. In 15 (52%), crocidolite/amosite dominating types, representing more than 70% all fibers. Anthophyllite asbestos was most prevalent type eight (28%), it found 13 (45%). One-half anthophyllite longer 5 microns, whereas other somewhat smaller.
