摘要: Mitochondrial pseudogenes in the human nuclear genome have been previously described, mostly as a source of artifacts during analysis mitochondrial genome. With availability complete sequence, we performed comprehensive mtDNA insertions into nucleus. We found 612 independent integrations that are evenly distributed among all chromosomes well within each individual chromosome. The identified account for content at least 0.016% DNA. Up to 30% chromosome's pseudogene is composed fragments encompass two or more adjacent genes, and no correlation between abundance transcripts multiplicity integrations. These observations indicate migrations DNA sequences nucleus were predominantly mediated. Phylogenetic primates continuous transfer Because limited window opportunity germline, sperm mtDNA, which released from degenerating mitochondria after fertilization, could be an important pseudogenes.
