摘要: Intestinal permeability was assessed in patients with inflammatory bowel disease by measuring the urine excretion of 51chromium-labeled ethylenediaminetetraacetate over periods up to 24 h after oral administration. Twenty-eight control subjects and 10 ulcerative colitis excreted less than 2.6% test dose h. Ten small Crohn's 3.3%-14.0%, 11 ileocolonic involvement had increased excretion. At same time, 5 were clearly outside normal range, suggesting involvement. The 24-h ethyl-enediaminetetraacetate administration appears be a sensitive, noninvasive for assessing intestinal integrity, may valuable adjuvant differential diagnosis disease.
